Those still living around us are not yet fossils. When you meet an individual on your travel location, or next to your home... It is easy to forget the struggle of the species. But it is. It exists. Behind the scene. Even in his or her body, right in front of your eyes. You may just not see it. The silent cry for help. For the individual does not say it in words, but statistics of the species do.

Women hunt to get attention from men. Posting a post in social media with a killed animal is aimed to get you likes and followers, which gives you more and more commercial collaborations and boost to your self-esteem.

Men hunt to get away for a moment from their boring everyday life. It is an adrenaline kick to search and find an animal, and then kill "it". In small villages it is a tradition. Some just like killing and travel thousands of kilometers to do it. Some feel so small about themselves, that need to compensate it with killing other beings. After the kill they hang the body parts on the walls... What a discrace. Or scatter them around in internet in form of pictures, pictures where people smile.

Humans are the only species, which I´ve seen hunting for fun. When young animals like wild cat kittens or wolf puppies play with their catch, it is a natural way of learning to hunt for food, not entertainment. That is not cruelty. What people do, when they hunt without the necessary need to find food, is cruelty.

As a child instead of a teddy bear, I had a koala bear, who was not a true bear at all, and even though in nature they live on the other side of the world...Maybe that is one of the reasons, why even nowadays if I see /hear them being in great danger for example on TV news... My eyes fill with tears immediately. I wish I could keep them all safe, just like the One always kept me... But I can´t. One person is just not enough.
